No partner or address exists

What causes this issue?

You have attempted to switch to business partner management with
<LS>Display</> or <LS>Amend</> from the <LS>Address</> field - but you
had not created a partner or selected an address beforehand.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Select a partner. Choose an address for the partner.
