Adaption to global characteristic &1 is not needed

What causes this issue?

You want to adapt an overwritten characteristic of a class to its
corresponding global characteristic.

System Response

An adaption of the overwritten characteristic to the global
characteristic is not necessary since no differences have been found.
The values of the global characteristic &V1& and the overwritten
characteristic are identical and also the value descriptions are
identical for all languages.
No dependencies can be copied for the characteristic and its values
because either they have already assigned to the overwritten
characteristic or no dependencies are assigned to the global
characteristic.

How to fix this error?

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
