No notifications have been created for the selected defect records

What causes this issue?

Defect records are stored as quality notifications. The quality
notifications, however, are only generated <ZH>after the defect records
have been stored</>.
If you select defect records which have not yet been saved, therefore,
you cannot display the notifications since these have not yet been
generated.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

First save the generated defect records. You should then be able to
display the notifications.
