You cannot delete the defects assigned to an insp. point or sample

What causes this issue?

You are unable to delete defects with a reference to the inspection
point or sample using the defects recording transaction, or using the
defects overview for the characteristic.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

To delete defects with a reference to the inspection point or sample
call up the results recording for inspection point or results recording
for sample transactions.
