What causes this issue?

You want to change or cancel the reference to class characteristic &V1&
.
The master inspection characteristic or the class characteristic is
used in at least one certificate profile.
After the change, different data than was previously shown could be
printed when you create a certificate.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Create a where-used list for the master inspection characteristic or
class characteristic. To do this, first enter the original class
characteristic &V1& in the field again.
