Pegging area &1 in &2 (version &3) cannot be updated

What causes this issue?

You have just changed pegging-relevant master data for the product &V1&
in location &V2& (planning version &V3&). However, the system could not
update the pegging area in SAP liveCache accordingly. This could be due
to inconsistent master data, which can arise for the following reasons:
Due to incorrect implementation of a customer exit
Due to incorrect values entered during the mass maintenance of a
product

System Response

The pegging area keeps its original status.

How to fix this error?

Check if the product master data is consistent.

In particular, check the following settings that are relevant for
pegging:
Shelf life settings on the <LS>Attributes</> tab page
Pegging settings on the <LS>Demand</> tab page

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
