Assignment of SCU to business partner &1 not defined/not found

What causes this issue?

You have attempted to use business partner &v1& in this function.
However, this is not possible because another function (for example,
route determination) does not work with business partners and no supply
chain unit has been assigned to business partner &v1&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

In the master data, choose the supply chain unit corresponding to
business partner &v1& and assign it to business partner &v1&.
An external identification of the respective supply chain unit must
exist for this in the business partner. The identification type
corresponds to the supply chain unit, for example, a plant would have
the identification type CRM011 and the customer would have CRM002.
If no corresponding supply chain unit exists, check whether this is
normally transferred from another SAP system. You may not have defined
this supply chain unit or location for transfer.
