No active prefix for object numbers determined (see long text)

What causes this issue?

To create new objects you must determine a 4 digit prefix for the
object numbers. This prefix is not yet maintained in the current client
or it is not yet set active.

System Response

You cannot create new objects.

How to fix this error?
