Operation terminated because the stack was not reset

What causes this issue?

The current stack pointer was not at the end of the stack but in the
middle. However, for the operation the stack pointer must be set to the
end of the stack. this was not possible. The operation could not be
carried out.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?
