Means-of-transport type not allowed for means of transport &

What causes this issue?

The <DS:DE.VHART>shipping material type</> that was entered in the
material master for the <DS:DE.TRMTYP>means of transport</> has no
entry for a <DS:DE.VELTP>shipping unit category</> that is relevant for
the shipment.

System Response

The means of transport entered cannot be used by the system.

How to fix this error?

Enter a means of transport that has a shipping material type with a
shipping unit category relevant for the shipment.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
