What causes this issue?
In characteristic administration, you defined the value &V1&, which is
not supported, in the <LS>Data Type</> field in the basic data for the
characteristic.
System Response
This function only supports characteristics of the data type
<ZH>Character format / CHAR</>. This restriction is required for
updating the data (for example, in SAP BW).
How to fix this error?
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
