Do the systems contain sample configuration, data and transactions?

Yes, our systems contain SAP's IDES (International Demo & Education System) data - this includes basic configuration of all modules and sample master data and transactions. In S/4HANA we have installed SAP's BBP (Business Best Practices), the IDES successor.
