What is SAP Fiori Launchpad?

The SAP Fiori Launchpad is the entry point to access the Fiori applications. The end-user has to login to the launchpad to view, approve any requests using Fiori based applications. The launchpad is role-based, displaying tiles according to the user role assignment. The launchpad home page displays frequently used tiles or favorite tiles, each tile representing different applications that the user can launch. Tiles can display live status indicators, such as the number of open tasks. The live status will help the end-users to keep track of open action items.
