Characteristics in analysis struct. & do not match sample Customizing

What causes this issue?

The segment-level characteristics can only be transferred from the
sample Customizing if the characteristics in the specified analysis
structure at least to some extent match up with the characteristics
designated as segment-level characteristics in the sample Customizing.
In this case, the analysis structure contains no characteristics that
match up with those designated as segment-level characteristics in the
sample Customizing.

System Response

The system does not allow you to create any segment-level
characteristics.

How to fix this error?

Maintain the segment-level characteristics for the analysis structure
manually.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
