What causes this issue?

The system checked an identifier, such as a CAS number. This identifier
is rejected because it does not meet conventions (for example, too many
or too few digits).

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

If the system displays only a warning message, you can repair the
identifier by pressing <LS>Return</> (for example, incorrect check
digit). You can also correct the entry manually.
If the system displays an error message, you need to correct the entry
manually (for example, you entered too few digits).
