Notification type &1 cannot be used with transaction &2

What causes this issue?

<LS>Independent shift note</> has been set in <DS:TRAN.ORPS8>Customizing
</> as the usage for notification type &V1&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

This notification type can only be used with the transactions for shift
notes.
