Change interval must be on posting period limit

What causes this issue?

The field you want to change must be unique within an posting period.
You have selected a change interval which is not within an posting
period. Changing the field would lead to inconsistent data.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Select a suitable change interval to change the field using the
"Analysis period" function.
