Planned order has no production version

What causes this issue?

The planned order has no production version.

System Response

MRP and production order creation find BOM and routing only through
production versions. MRP will not explode a BOM for this planned order.

How to fix this error?

Create a production version for the material, plant, order quantity, and
end date.

Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
