Defect item & is already completed- only display is possible

What causes this issue?

Defect item &v1& is assigned to a quality notification that has already
been processed and completed.
You cannot process completed quality notifications using the functions
for defects recording.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Process the desired defect item using the functions for the quality
notifications.
